Prayer Ministry
Prayer is one of the most important facets of the Christian life.
Our Father in heaven knows what we have need of even before we ask, and knows what is
best for us better than we know ourselves. The Lord wants to give us every blessing He has
planned for us but He can not act in our lives unless we invite Him to do so. The Lord
will not act against the freewill that He has given each and everyone of us. Earnest
prayer opens the way and gives God the consent He needs to do what He desires in a
believer's life.
Prayer can change lives drastically. When we pray individually, we can work miracles
for ourselves and those we touch with our prayers. When we pray collectively for His will
to be done, Christians can change the course of history. Prayer will stem the tide of
evil.
Our church places great emphasis on prayer. Prayer in worship, thanking Him for His
wisdom, power, and grace and praising Him for His goodness. Prayer is petition, seeking
those things that we need in our personal lives that will help us live a strong and
meaningful witness. Prayer is intercession, as when we pray for God to touch the lives of
others so that they will come to know the truth and be blessed with the greatest gift a
person can obtain, eternal life in His presence. We encourage individuals to pray
incessantly. There are prayer partners available at anytime for those who feel a need to
pray with someone else. We can call upon God together, over the phone, after every church
service or meeting.
